Weekly Roundup 2025 - W29
First up, we've got the Guild Wars 2 Visions of Eternity announcement trailer. I loved Guild Wars, and 2 was pre-ordered the second I could. I never got into it at the start, though. There was just something not quite right. Not having an FOV slider really didn't help. I could only play for an hour or so before starting to feel sick, and I wasn't the only one.
Over the years, though, it's come a long way. And I enjoy diving in occasionally to enjoy the world.
This is a really intriguing method of tracking things, but I don't think it would work for me. And, as I'm writing some of these words weeks later because I didn't finish and just dumped a load of links in a draft, you can read my latest post on how I keep track of notes and to-dos. Which was written after I watched this, and before I wrote this.
Confused? Good. Me too.
Still, that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement.
I thought this was cool, especially as I've been a user of an iPhone 8 for years. I've got small hands … these phone sizes are just impossible for me to work with.
It's a shame it didn't meet the funding goal, but the pricing for those specs would have been tough to stomach for anyone interested.

Some of these words resonate. The things that I use are tools, nothing more. And as I get older, I just want my tools to work. A lot of the time, Apple wins that point.
I love how simple and innocent this fantastic project is. The fact that it's made with Blender and Godot is incredible.

This is one of the most beautiful watches I have seen in a while. I'm not going to lie, there's some serious consideration being put into the purchase of one of these things.

Strangely fascinating.
I thought this was a fascinating application for interacting with GitHub issues. Something I do daily. If there was a Kanban board view to this thing, I think I'd be all over it.
