Weekly Roundup 2025 - W28
Much like last week, it's been a long, busy week with not a lot of personal stuff being done. So, not too many picks of the week for you.
This was by far one of the best things of the week. "Make me laff, bastard!". Tickled me.
I have no idea how, nor can I find the original prompt. But something in one of my feeds popped up about Iaido. The practice of drawing a Japanese sword. I thought it was fascinating. What made it stick in mind for the week, however, was that it actually appeared in an old NCIS episode (S01-E04) that very evening.
Yes, we have started re-watching NCIS from the very beginning.

I've also been enjoying the odd episode of Knights of Sidonia on Crunchyroll. I started watching it years ago, and can't remember if I ever finished it. So I started again 😄. They're not very long, so pretty easy to squeeze one in.
Work has continued on a couple of draft posts.
- How the last 12 weeks of running training has gone, based on a low HR.
- Is a very long-form opinion post on the "EU OS" project, and my thoughts of managing Linux desktop at scale. I'm really putting in some effort on this one, and expect it to take me a while yet.
