Let's see if I can get into the habit of making this a regular thing, shall we?

Here are a few things that have caught my attention this week.

Yes, my smart home is spying on me — and I don’t really care
It mostly benefits users, but there are some privacy concerns

How anyone could type out some of those paragraphs and not have a "holy shit, this is horrific" moment, is beyond me. And then, that one lone comment at the bottom about not being a criminal, so track away.

Sleeping Earplugs | Snoring Earplugs | Best Sleep Earplugs
Ultra light, soft and comfortable to wear sleeping earplugs. To give you the good night’s sleep you deserve. Blocks out snoring and noises.

I'm a pretty light sleeper, and get through numerous silicone earplugs. Which isn't great. I actually discovered this company because of something on a motorbike channel, and noticed they did sleep specific ones.

I've been a member on the Neowin forums since 2006. Likely even before that because I remember them changing over their forum software. I don't visit as often as I used to, but I do miss that forum style interaction.

Anyway, I've been watching this thread with interest. It's astonishing how shitty these scrapers are.

Some of these are great. And you will never find me disappearing down a random aisle to avoid an unwanted social interaction because I spotted you from the other side of the shop. Honest …
