The Difference in Public Transport Infrastructure
The random video for this morning was about the comparison of public transport between Japan, and Texas.
We all know that Japan wins. What was interesting, was how busy Shinjuku station actually is. Shifting over 3 million passengers a day. That's a crazy number. Compare that to somewhere like London's Waterloo station, handling an estimated 70.4 million … in a year.
And UK trains still can't run anywhere near on time. Or make it to their intended destination without terminating early at some random point in the journey. Leaving you utterly alone to figure out how to reach your destination.
I decided to figure out how long it would take me to make a similar journey. With everything running on time (🤣), and arriving where it's supposed to. About 5.5 hours.
